Electronic artists are very unique because they bring a whole new type of music to the music field. This music was not quickly accepted in the beginning. Artists in the early 1980s were the ones that birth the music. They were the ones that had to pave the way for the upcoming artists. These beginning artists went through a lot of struggle in the early years of electronic music because the tools they needed were not accessible or were not invented yet. Also, many people were not accepting of the music, so it stayed underground for quite some time. Another problem they ran into later on was how an artist was going to become recognized for their talent. Standing out was now going to be the hard part. When doing my research on artists I got that the goal is to create something that has never been heard before. The artist must love what they do, and just kept on taking the next step forward. It seems to me that the key of becoming an artist is to have that motivation to make a new taste in music and love what you do as an artist because people will see that and realize your talent as an artist.
