Pretty Lights, real name Derek Vincent Smith, is an electronic music artist from Fort Collins, Colorado. His Dj name comes from a Pink Floyd poster that reads “Come and watch the pretty lights!” His music crosses many genres such as, glitchy hip-hop beats, buzzing synth lines, and vintage funk and soul. His goal in the music industry is intending to explore new visions and satisfy their thirst for musical diversity. Also intended more for the live setting/dance culture.
